Support

Rivalo helps amateur football players track matches on Apple Watch and review performance on iPhone. This page covers the most common setup and troubleshooting steps. If you still need help, contact us — we typically respond within 2 business days.

Getting started

Install and sign in

  1. Download Rivalo on your iPhone from the App Store.
  2. Create an account or sign in with your email and password.
  3. Complete your player profile (name, position, and optional details).
  4. Install the Watch app by opening Rivalo on iPhone while your Apple Watch is paired and nearby.

Before your first match

  • Pair your Apple Watch with the same iPhone running Rivalo.
  • Allow Health permissions on Watch when prompted (heart rate, distance, energy, workouts).
  • Allow notifications on iPhone if you want post-match summaries and result reminders.
  • Keep Bluetooth enabled and both devices charged before kickoff.

Recording a match

  1. Open Rivalo on your Apple Watch.
  2. Tap start before kickoff and choose your match type (quick, structured, or training).
  3. Play your match — Rivalo records duration, distance, heart rate, sprints, and route.
  4. End the workout on Watch when the match finishes.
  5. Open Rivalo on iPhone to review the synced session and add context (opponent, score, notes).

Sync & data issues

Match not appearing on iPhone

  • Keep Watch and iPhone unlocked and close together for a minute after ending the match.
  • Open the Rivalo iPhone app while the Watch is still on your wrist.
  • Check that you are signed in to the same account on both devices.
  • Force-quit and reopen Rivalo on iPhone, then pull to refresh the sessions list.
  • Restart both devices if sync still fails after several minutes.

Missing heart rate or distance

  • Confirm Health permissions: iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access → Rivalo.
  • Wear the Watch snugly during the match; loose fit reduces heart rate accuracy.
  • Outdoor matches with GPS give better distance and route data than indoor sessions.

Account & profile

  • Sign-in problems: Use the same email you registered with. Check spam for verification emails.
  • Profile photo: Set from iPhone profile — requires photo library permission.
  • Delete account: Email marlon.castro@thefndrs.com from your registered address with subject “Account deletion”.

App Store review

If you are reviewing Rivalo for Apple, use the demo credentials provided in App Store Connect App Review Information. The account includes sample match history so all iPhone features can be tested without recording a live workout.
